Each virtue asks you to name someone in your family who carries it. Those names collect into a tree at the back of the book, so you finish with your family's own tree of virtues in your handwriting.
No. Every beej shloka is given in Devanagari with transliteration and a plain-English meaning, so you can say it however you are comfortable.
